Yes, the modes can be called scales. The Ionian mode is better known as the major scales, and the Aeolian mode is better known as the natural minor scales.

The chorus really made everything sound incredible. The good thing about headphones is that it makes you actually seem inside of the music, if you know what i mean.

I'm gonna have to agree with some of the other people. Beginning was good, it gave the song a graveyard-ish theme. After the first 40 seconds or so, it started to sounds a little, different. Keep on trying! You're almost there!
