Hi, Kevin here. James is here btw.
Very interesting song.
Defientely stormy. I really like the stormcloud and thunder noises. It added a nice touch to the music. You should show this to HFX, aka halcyonic falconx! She might even put it in the game she's making. One of her other games is in the 'high ranking classics' portal. Great song! Keep it up!

Thank you Kevin! I worked really hard on making this so your comment means a lot to me. A ton of time was put into making this and its finally great to be able to share this to the general public.

Not anymore :)

Great song! happy and bubbly and hippie-la-la ish. Very cute! Can't wait to see this game!

HOWEVER:

@pinhead91
seriously?!?!? A bunch of people who don't know what that means (like me) will end up searching up the word on wikipedia or something and discover a bunch of things that we don't need to know about until we have 'the talk'.

Quite interesting, like the other song. A little repeptive, but video game store music is like that, the players are more concentrated on buying items and stuff. Can't wait to see the Game Jam 7 game though.

Wait, you're making another game??!?!

Phyrnna responds:

It is a little repetitive. But with the time we have for Game Jam, I don't have enough time to properly develop most of the songs. That and we figured that as a store theme, players will only be hearing it for all of a few moments at most.

Very interesting, yet short. What team logo are you talking about though?

Phyrnna responds:

For my Game Jam team.

Wow! Two great songs in one day! Can't wait to see the full versions of all the teasers.

Great song! This is just my opinion, but I think the Er'hu should be more of a distant, softer instrument, like something in the background. Although you're the real musician, so maybe it's just my weird taste in music. Other than that, the music does a great good at incroporating a 'grand yet slightly mystical' feeling. Keep up the good work!

Oh btw, not much musical artists leave a review on every single comment, so that's just another good thing i wanted to mention.

DanJohansen responds:

Yeah you're right man, the er'hu is mostly used softly. Although there are many famous Chinese pieces where it's played more like a classical intense violin.

Glad you like it and thanks for the compliments :D

Wow! Great song! You managed to mantain a Chinese style while using modern instruments and stuff. I like how you also included some Chinese-ish instruments at the beginning. I'm Chinese myself, so I look for stuff like this all the time.!

Great song! Wasn't this in the intro of EB3, or something? Sounds familiar. 0:32 deifentely sounds familiar.

Beginning gives a feeling of seething dark energy. The ending is a little happier (ish). Great though! Can't wait for the full version!

hello there.
